so i think i'm gonna call the hospital tomorrow and have a little chat with debbie.. because how she treated me.. was so rude and disrespectful.. like i'm gonna give her respex for being older and stuff but like she was plain rude to me..
so i come back from the round.. and she goes 'what did you get lost in the new building" and im like umm no why.. and shes like 'well you left at 5:30 and you took 25 minutes' and it doesnt take that long.. and i was like 'actually i left at 5:45..' and shes like 'well it was 5:30 on my watch... like in disbelief of me..
i know for a fact it was 5:45 i left cuz before that, chris brought out the viles for us to label and cherry asked me what time it was and i told her 5:45 so thats why i was like 'ya chris i doubt we'll label these since it usually takes us 15 minutes to go on a round''. and when we left today i asked cherry 'wasnt it 5:45 taht we left for the round' and she was like ya also. so ya i think i'm gonna call debbie tomorrow.

hmphh apparently the phone is a v500 according to mack bro. its prettay. apparnetly its like the v300 but it has the bluetooth thingy. hmph how was my day.. woke up at 6.. cuz of rugby stuff. canddy picked me up. we went to timmys to grab food.. i got a blueberry bagel [it was just supposed to be toasted], along with a medium tea [roll up the rim baby!].. hmmm but she gave me one with cream cheese as i discovered after i arrived at school. and i was like cool, score i got a cream cheese bagel for the price of a bagel with butter.. so i eat half of it.. and we start running for the 15 minutes. cool. i get a cramp about 10 minutes through the 15 and i'm like whatever we'll just finish the 15 minutes. cool. so we go into the gym, do the stretches and then more of that running stuff.. we finish it all. yeaa im feeling a little sick right now.. but its time to go to the weight room now... hmph ya i think theres phlegm in my throat so i go to the washroom to say bye bye to it... along with that.. bye bye to my blueberry bagel and my tea! *tear

cool. yesterday i didnt know what cyanide pills existed for but after researching [i had to] i know now! up to yesterday all i knew about cyanide was.. it was a special acid.. HCN in chemistry. but actually.. we all know its a 'quick suicide' pill now.
usually, our body's enzyme rhodanide synthetase can convert the cyanide into sulfur if taken in small amounds. cyanide is found in exhaust pipe smoke, tobacco smoke, used to make plastics, productions of chemicals, and also photographic development.
this is the cool part cuz i just learnt about cellular respiration in bio a while ago [the thing i had a test one]
cyanide ions kill aerobic [with oxygen] organisms by shutting down cellular respiration. it shuts down the electron transport chain [where most of your ATP are made, aka the last step of aerobic respiration]. Since ETC takes place in the inner place of your mitochrondria, it binds more strongly with the Iron 3 ions so it prevents oxygen from binding with electons. Did you also know that during WW2, the Nazis used.. you guess it, HCN hydrogen cyanide gas in the chambers to kill the jews. Also, cyanide salts work as suicide pills because they react with your stomach acids [they're released when they meet your stummy acids] and therefore work faster on an empty stomach. wow. thats interesting!

heres what happend. they were webcamming on msn and apparently she was 'drunk' and took off all her clothes and he print screened the convo and sent them around to lss people. this girl CHARGES him and he was arrested yesterday. LIKE COME ON. if shes going to be stupid enough to take off her clothes and crap on webcam like dont blame other people if you WILLINGLY did it. she was obviously NOT drunk if she could talk to him on msn. even if she was drunk. shouldn't she be charged with underage drinking?
hmm is child pornography an indictable offence? because if it is and he gets found guilty, it'll like go on his record.. if not.. it is just put under YCJA and nobody is allowed to check it unless you have like special permission [so employers, and crap can't check it right]?

anyway. i got totally RAPED in the calc TIPS part today. well it is supposed to be the 'hard and impossible' questions right? i should get part marks.. *crosses fingers*
and this girl in my biology class is really annoying me. she's trying to compete with me for marks i know it! she was like 'what did you get on this, what did you get on that' so annoying! today when i walked in class she was like 'what are you getting in bio now' and she was watching me as i went up to the teacher to look for my mark! [well i didnt get it at that time anyway sicne he kinda ignored me] but its bugging me how shes getting 93.. the highest mark in the class and i'm ONLY GETTING 92! I"M GETTING LOWER THEN HER. the challenge is on!! it gets me annoyed when i dont beat the people who want to beat me. and it annoys me that people do that! AHH.


planks are hard to do when you do them properly.
its when you're on the floor.. [kinda like the pushup position] and your hands are together [folded..] and you hold youself up with your elbows [they hafta be close to your body] and your butt is NOT in the air lol and they you do kinda like jumping jacks with your legs.. so like.. in and out.. it gets hard after like a set. lol

So Juan-Valdez complains about how teachers mark assignments. While it sucks to have your assignments get that kind of treatment, marking is a very time consuming task of which can drive anyone nuts. When I was a Comp Sci TA during my UofT days, marking one assignment for a class of 25 students took on average 5 hrs...and this is for a 1st year course too!

Marking is not a fun thing to do...especially after a full day of classes or work. Want to know how to make a marker very unhappy (and thus to less marks?). Write sloppy. More you make the marker work, the more we make you pay.

I will leave you with this timbit from my marking experience. I had one student who I didn't get their assignment which meant they get 0/50. 2 days before I was supposed to go on my Christmas vacation, I get a call from the Prof saying the student submitted to the wrong place and I had to remark their assignment. Okay...takes me 1/2 hr to refresh my memory on how to mark that assignment. As I'm going through the assignment, it was so poorly done (I was really trying to give the student any marks), the student got 2/50 on it. Ah, but here's the kicker. It was submitted 2 days so I had to take 2 marks so. So the student got 0 anyways and wasted 1 hr of my time. Hrumph...

Tune in next week as maybe I will tell you guys about my friend's experience marking my brother's assignments. :P

'what?!' so he pulled the 8 outta his butt?! ahhh!
